YouTube API User Data Policy for "Donation & Viewers (for YouTube Live)" Client

“Donation & Viewers (for YouTube Live)” (the App) is a downloadable software that runs on a user’s LaMetric smart device and uses YouTube Application Program Interface (API) Services. You can find out more about LaMetric smart devices at

The App is developed by Smart Atoms Ltd. (LaMetric) – a company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom. You can find out more about Smart Atoms Ltd. (LaMetric) at

Smart Atoms Ltd. has obtained authorized client credentials for the App to access YouTube data via YouTube Data API Services. Smart Atoms Ltd. keeps these credentials confidential.

The App, while running on user’s LaMetric smart device, is requesting the following Google user data:

  • Data associated with Google account: profile information and Open ID to let the app authenticate the YouTube account using OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanism. 
  • Data associated with YouTube account: Super Chat events to detect when donations occur and display them on the screen of LaMetric smart device.
  • Public data associated with YouTube: channel names and thumbnails to provide ability to search for a specific YouTube channel. List of public videos on a channel to detect when live stream occurs. Number of video viewers, likes and dislikes to display it on the screen of LaMetric smart device.

The data does not leave user device. The data is not stored on a persistent storage of the LaMetric smart device. The data will not be transferred to others. The data will not be used for serving advertisements.

By using the App you also agree to the LaMetric Terms of Service, LaMetric Privacy-Policy, YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
