YouTube API User Data Policy for "Analytics for YouTube" Client

“Analytics for YouTube” (the app) is a downloadable software that runs on a user’s LaMetric smart devices and uses YouTube Application Program Interface (API) Services. You can find out more about LaMetric smart devices at https://lametric.com.

The App is developed by Smart Atoms Ltd. (LaMetric) – a company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom. You can find out more about Smart Atoms Ltd. (LaMetric) at https://lametric.com/en-US/about

Smart Atoms Ltd. has obtained authorized client credentials for the App to access YouTube Analytics data via YouTube Data API Services and YouTube Analytics API Services. Smart Atoms Ltd. keeps these credentials confidential.

The App, while running on user’s LaMetric smart device, is requesting the following Google user data:

  • Data associated with Google account: profile information and Open ID to let the app authenticate the YouTube account using OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanism.
  • Data associated with YouTube account: channel name, list of videos with their names and thumbnails to provide the ability to choose a video from user’s YouTube channel. Estimated revenue, watch time, number of views, number of subscribers change and history data for a specific time period for each value. This data is displayed on the screen of LaMetric smart device.

The data does not leave user device. The data is not stored on a persistent storage of the LaMetric smart device. The data will not be transferred to others. The data will not be used for serving advertisements.

By using the App you also agree to the LaMetric Terms of Service, LaMetric Privacy-Policy, YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

If you decide to revoke access of the App to your YouTube account you may use “3rd Party Access” page of your Google Account located at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
